October 1982: Soget Est is established with the idea and mission of connecting the world through multilingual communication and endeavouring to bridge the gap between different cultures, thus breaking down the barriers between them.

Our company was the progeny of founders Mirko and Isabella. Both keen travellers, they spent numerous trips exploring the globe, which ultimately opened their eyes to the opportunity of turning their curiosity and interest in interculturality into something more tangible. And so it was that we set up our first office in the heart of Padua, our idea drawing inspiration from the words of Rabindranath Tagore “Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven”: this phrase appropriately sums up our ongoing, integrated and multi-pronged efforts to promote global communication by diligently bridging language gaps, employing top professionals and cutting-edge technologies, and respecting the environment and cultural differences.
And we have been unwavering ever since in our commitment to providing Quality, pursuing the objectives we set out to achieve, and delivering on the promises we have made to our clients along the way.We have always seen ourselves as something of a trailblazer in terms of the reliability of our work, complying fully with international standards EN ISO 17100 and ISO 18587..

But this is only half the story.

More than a translation agency, Soget Est is, first and foremost, one big family comprising individuals of different nationalities, each bringing their own personal skill set and cultural background to the table to form a unique team.
On this note, we cannot emphasize enough the importance of the value added brought by all the individuals who make your translation and interpreting projects possible, or who handle your texts, manuals, catalogues or certification services daily with painstaking care and passion.

So special thanks go to our team for their part in helping us achieve this milestone: our in-house resources have worked tirelessly, especially over the course of 2020 and 2021 — despite the pandemic — engaging in a demanding training exercise, which has nonetheless reaped its rewards, allowing us to take the standard of quality of our services up another notch.
We really also want to thank our valuable contractors, the translators, interpreters, revisers and linguists who are there, every day, to support us with their professionalism and expertise in a whole range of different, and often ambitious, projects.

But, of course, our biggest thank you has to go to you, our clients, who, every day, allow us to play a part in your international success, honouring us with your ongoing loyalty

While savouring this 40-year milestone, we still see it as a starting point for a journey into our next future, and we can’t wait to see what it brings.
